Depends how much fat you want. Sometimes I do a 1tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of coconut oil. Other times I do 2 tbsp of each.

I use Butter, Oil, Heavy Cream, and unsweetened cocoa powder. I use different levels, 1TBS -2TBS of any depending on my mood, needs and whats left in the dish. (12oz of coffee)

Its a must to blend, as it improves the coffee 1000%, my preferred method is Magic Bullet, otherwise I use the immersion blender.

So yummy I drink 2 a day most days

Oil is Coconut, I tried olive once when I was out wasn't as good.

I use 2 Tablespoons of unsalted kerrygold butter and Sweet Leaf sweetener... blended up in blender for about 10 seconds. Very tasty!

We just made this the other day. I used unsalted grass fed butter and virgin coconut oil. The idea above about adding cream and unsweetened cocoa sounds like a heavenly treat! I may have to try it.

PS: We blended it. I think blending is a must otherwise the oil just floats around in your coffee in pools that look gross.
  • yum! Thank you all for your input, just got my KG unsalted butter and going to give it a try!
