Hi I am Joy. Been paleo since November 2013, had a brief break in the middle but now back on track. Ask anything you need to know and welcome.

Welcome! This is a great group, you should get all the support you need here. I started paleo in 8/2013, and am a bit more primal now - I don't shy away from cheese anymore. I did it to resolve digestive issues and it worked like a charm. I fall off from time to time, but I know the consequences so I try to limit it. You will feel amazing!

Hi everyone! I started Paleo about 4 months ago after following, researching and reading lots of discussions, about Primal/Paleo lifestyle diet. Since my new lifestyle changes of Paleo, I feel so much better and digestive issues are gone. I have been trying to lose 20 lbs for a very long time, did follow Atkins 10 yrs ago and lost 25 lbs at that time. I would love to hear from anyone for motivation & suggestions, etc. I will do the same, as I check-in daily now that I'm on MFP.

Hi there- I noticed your height & weight are close to mine, I think it depends on several factors-age, bone structure/body frame. I'm currently on a challenge to lose 20 lbs or close to that in 10 weeks. What are your goals on weight loss?

Our small town family doctor of 15 years and his doctor wife are now into paleo now and he said he wasn't sure anyone should eat wheat. How about that?!

Well I have lots of tips about how to switch over (which I am now giving to my husband, yay!) but after 4 months you are probably pretty good at paleo now!
You can friend me if you like. I need all the support I can get.

Thanks! I am still learning and trying to figure out how to eat the right amount of protein, vegetables, etc. I realized that I need to track my food otherwise I will consume too many calories & not see results (weight loss) Even though I've been following Paleo for 4 months, I wasn't tracking calories, ate clean but very little weight loss. MFP is definitely helping to stay on track.
