Advice on exercises to accompany the c25k

I had started the c25k about a year ago and got really far with it. I wasn't working so I had a lot of free time. I felt great and lost about 15 pounds. All over I felt more toned and I could see and feel a difference. Then I started working and stopped, which is no excuse at all, I should have been more organized. I want to start this again, and stick with it! I was wondering if anyone had any advice on workout programs/videos that would help improve running that could accompany the c25k. Feel free to add me as a friend! Thank you!

Personally I would suggest some form of resistance training as it's complementary to the running.
I like You Are Your Own Gym, others like Convict Conditioning as an alternative.0 -
Thank you! Both of those look like workouts I would enjoy! I prefer body weight exercises0

My experience is similar to yours, had a great start last year but then I spent most of autumn and winter pretty sick, and have now started over.
On my off days I do a longer walk than usual with my dog, yoga, and some strength training. I also bike and kayak, but that is very dependent on my work schedule. The yoga is easy to fit in because I do it at home following dvd's. I like Denise Austin's, they're a little on the cheezy side, but easy to follow and the routines are well put together.
I'll send you a friend request, good luck!0
