Oy! Someone in another thread mentioned that it seemed that a bunch of us sound fed up. Fed up isn't exactly the right word. I'm not giving up the VI, I'm just giving up expectations of losing weight. I had very low expectations because I didn't want to be disappointed and here I am disappointed anyway. It's week 18 and I've lost 14 pounds only. I have NOT strayed at all from the guidelines. I do my workouts too! Its disheartening, but what I hold onto is that I know I look better and I certainly feel better. THAT is what keeps me from getting fed up. Its just disheartening...

I think I was the one who said you all seemed fed up. sorry!
I got my come uppence though. After an amazing first week, I then spent the second week feeling a little hungry. But I stuck to my calorie count and the exercises and added a bit of cardio too.
The Result
I lost 1lb
1 inch lost of my hips
Everywhere else either stayed the same or gained inches
not at all what I wanted, but in honesty, I kind of expected it. My clothes just felt that bit uncomfortable. Strange way to describe it, as I had already lost 8lb.
So there I was on the Venus forum and posting in my Venus blog, bemoaning how my efforts had been for nothing. Then today the light bulb switched on again and I feel fine and ready for the challenge again. Must be hormones lol
The plan is to follow the first 12 weeks to the letter. See how that goes and either stick to it for another 12 or adapt it to suit myself
So, again, I am sorry for being unkind and saying some of you seemed a little down.............I guess we all get a bit fed up, but here we all are. Still trying, not giving up or giving in :bigsmile:0 -
I guess this team is not exactly active is it0
