Looking for Insanity/Shaun T pals?

Hi there,

I'm a long timer with MFP been hanging around for the past three years. I restarted my profile at the start of the year and have kept my friends circle quite closed, but I am on the lookout for new friends who are doing similar workouts/similar routines to me so we can motivate each other.
I love Beachbody workouts and LOVE Shaun T, Chalene Johnson, Jillian Michaels etc.

I am currently doing another round of Insanity after doing it a couple of years ago, I need a few friends who 'get' what I'm going through every morning! Next I am looking to do P90X so would be good to connect with some people who are currently doing it to see how others are getting on with it and let me know what I'm letting myself in for!

Also anyone who went to Shauntervention UK out there?! Would be good to connect!

    Hi Claire, I've just restarted after falling off the wagon! I'm doing a mix of Insanity, T25 and Turbofire until I'n fitter and can redo Insanity from the beginning to the end. I've also just recently come back to MFP so a friend along the way would be good :)

    Hey, I completed insanity 3 months ago, and then started T-25. Ive dropped 40 pounds after completing both, but still have fat to burn, so I restarted insanity 2 days ago as well.. I DONT MISS IT! lol

    I'm always happy to connect with more people doing Insanity. I have a couple of friends on here that are doing it and it helps motivation.

    I'm already wondering which workout I'll be doing after I finish Insanity in 5 weeks. Maybe T25?

    Hi Clare i've done insanity twice, t25 alpha through to gamma and body beast. Did a month of p90x but didn't get on with it i found tony annoying. Currently doing t25 for the second time

    Hello! I've done Insanity twice now and put the weight back on after I got married in April (yay for eating all the foods but I'm regretting it now!). I'm doing T25 at the minute, just to change things up, but I'll be back doing Insanity before very long. I'd love to try body beast too! Feel free to add me as a friend :)

    How are you guys logging insanity on MFP?

    I don't have a heart rate monitor, so I just put in 20 minutes of circuit training every day and use whatever MFP says for calories.. Usually 154 calories. But for cardio recovery I log it as 20 minutes of yoga because it's very easy.

    Hi Everyone! I've done the first month of Insanity and then the flu hit my household (twice around with everyone) and I never got back on track afterwards. I also have Hip Hop Abs that I do regularly and also Yoga Meltdown with Jillian Michaels. I don't know which one I hate/love more...Shaun T or Jillian Michaels. LOL. I'm working my way back up to starting Insanity over again. I've got about 19-25 pounds to lose and am having a battle with my scale at the moment. Feel free to add me...anyone. We need all the help and support we can get.

    Sweet. Fit test yesterday, and day one complete...Lets do this!!! Are we doing any bragging rights, lost weight, fit test results? I ask first since some people can be demotivated by others results.:wink:

    I think the people who do the fit test on the video are the ones with the bragging rights... Especially the girl, she's insane.


    I'm going on holiday to Spain for a week in July/August, so I think I will have to give up Insanity for a week. It will be the second week of month 2. I'm going to be swimming every day but the weather will just be too hot to do Insanity. So I think I will take 1 weeks break and then go straight back to where I was, with week 2 of month 2.

    Don't do it! You'll regret it. Just work out really early in the morning when it's cooler - either on the beach or your balcony for the breeze. And drink lots of water. You'll be fine.

    I've done Insanity in loads of weird and wonderful places, I've done it at 11pm or got up at 5am, anything not to miss a day.

    I like those two as well, especially Chris because he's a distance runner like me, so I always try to keep up with him.
