Great article. I wonder if you can get those same benefits doing a short practice at home on your own. I have settled into a 30 min practice on my own daily. I do feel I am missing the more in depth benefits of doing it with an instructor and of changing what I am doing, different poses etc. I often skip the rest period at the end.
Maybe at some point I will trust my back enough to do an actual yoga class,but right now I am afraid of hurting my back if I go to a class. I know myself and I know if I was in a class with others, I would push myself too much.
I also think we should keep the link to this article handy and link it whenever that question comes up. It seems to come up a lot!0 -
