what to eat after donating blood

Hi all.
Any ideas what to take to eat afer donating blood? I never know what to eat - here in the UK they provide biscuits and crisps to get some sugar into your quickly and I never know whether to just eat it or not!
Anyone else have this dilemma? :huh:

I eat Nairn's gluten-free oatcakes for breakfast - would something like that help? Might give you a bit of a carb boost.0
