How are you all?!
I am well, I think.
We survived the storm this weekend with nothing more than a garbage can blowing down the parking lot and intermittent internet, so there's that. I was not active in the group last week because I lost my pedometer and couldn't find the stupid thing ANYWHERE! But now that the week has passed, I recovered it from beneath the couch where it went to hide. If it's not one thing, it's another. But such is life...
On to the numbers!
We've traveled 996.7 miles/1604 kilometers and have 23904.85 miles/38471.1 kilometers to go!
This week alone we traveled 130.8 miles/210.5 kilometers!
Woohoo!
I'm setting a couple personal goals for myself this week to not eat shortcut meals (canned, boxed, etc.), to do some form of strength training/calisthenics each day this week, and to be active and engaging on MFP.
What are your goals for the week?

Goals for the week:
1. No soda this week (I've been having a pepsi next recently with dinner)
2. Try to go on an extra bike ride this week (separate from the days I go to work and back)

So I'm not doing too badly on my goals for the week, I think. I have had one shortcut meal so far (perogies & chicken fries), I was late starting my strength training but am now all over it, but I am still struggling with interacting on here. It's hard when I work nights and sleep all day! We have company coming this weekend and then the kids are going away next week, so I'm hoping to be a little more active while they're gone. We'll see!

Great, thanks! I set 2 targets for the week (run / water), and thus far I'm on track. If you hadn't encouraged us to set extra goals for the week, I'm not sure I actually would have ran. So it was helpful - thank-you!

How are you doing with your goals for the week?
Honestly, it's been 50/50. I've been doing better at biking/walking more than my usual set per week (to work and back, normally). However, I've been bombing at not drinking soda, for the most part. I just keep forgetting! Though I did Sobe water at Taco Bell yesterday, rather than coke, and it did help me stay on my goal limit. Just have to find a way to remember not to get it spur of the moment...

Weekly goal update:
1) Drink more water (minimum 6 cups daily) .... CHECK, DONE!!!! 83 cups of water this week, every day over 6 cups, an average of just under 12 cups a day!
2) Run at least 2 km... because I never make myself run any more .... CHECK, DONE!!!! Ran 3x's for a total of 8.27 km, yay!0 -
