I'm brand new to counting macros. I'm starting today! So far so good. Seems like it will be pretty simple when I'm making my own food. Any tips? What about going out to eat?

    I'm hoping we can help each other out as I'm relatively new to IIFYM too and I keep going through phases of binges!

    When I go out to eat if MFP doesn't recognise the restaurant, I just break the food down into smaller parts/foods and track those instead. Its always better to take an educated guess and track the food rather than just leaving it and thinking it will be ok.

    I find it really hard to stick to my fat target whilst fulfilling my protein target, but it depends on what split of macro's you are aiming for. I've found that tuna mayo is really low on fat and fills you up too! Feel free to add me for a bit of encouragement :)
