    Alright, so TMI Tuesday got me thinking that we should have a similar thread in this group. I was thinking it would be fun and interesting to post 3 random facts about you. Okay, well maybe it’s just me that thinks it would be fun but whatev. :tongue:
    I am curious by nature and with so many new people coming into our group it would be a great opportunity to learn more about each other (especially you lurkers :P).

    Maybe we can add on to it - if we want to quote someone and ask for more detail(s) and/or reply back we can.

    And I have always wondered, when you use a spiral bound notebook, is it easier for you to put the spiral on the right side and write from the back page to the front?

    1. If there is anything that makes me scream and wave my hands around, it's a nice, fat trail of ants. ((shudder))
    2. I am left-handed, but play pool and fish right-handed.
    3. I love the paranormal and seek out ghost-hunting opportunities when financially able.

    #3 peaked my curiosity! Have you had any successful encounters?

    1. Apparently I am a 'beginner' to adding posts as I tried to comment on several only to forget the 'Quote'. LOL
    2. I am Tongan, but I don't speak Tongan. I speak Spanish.
    3. I only have 5 classes left before I graduate with my BA. Let the countdown begin! :-D

    1. I just discovered tattoo removal is more painful than getting one. I still love them though.
    2. I live in Alaska but can't see Russia and shut up about Palin.
    3. I don't have kids, and I don't want kids. But I am an awesome aunt.


    tattoo removal sucks. :(

    1. I'm new here. First day on MFP.
    2. I was in the US Coast Guard for four years doing search and rescue/law enforcement for a small boat station in Galveston.
    3. 13 years ago I went crazy and left beautiful TX for Illinois.

    LOL!!! First, welcome. Second, Coast Guard hu? What was the craziest thing you saw? Third, (LOL) your insanity has been confirmed. What were you thinking?!?! HAHAHAHAH

    1) I'm right handed, but mostly play golf left handed
    2) I have a grey stripe in my hair...it seems to get wider as the years go by...I first noticed it when I was 25
    3) I am working towards becoming a silversmith/jewellery designer

    Almost everything I cook involves putting something inside of other things. I don't know why. Stuffed this...roulade that..

    Whenever I get in my car, I have to shift from first to second and back to first before I go. I don't know why.

    Jelly fish is .. crunchy and bland. We add them to noodles or make spicy salad. Very very good.

    I loved reading through everyone's answers.

    1. I'm bilingual (English - Dutch). (Other languages I know, but can no longer/not yet speak fluently: Swedish & French.)
    2. I left the US & moved to another country at age 20.
    3. I have a rare genetic disorder, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, which, because of a mutation in tumor-suppressant genes, causes benign tumors to grow on organs (eyes, skin, lungs, brain, kidneys, etc.).

    Hi I'm Kim:

    1. I am a whitewater kayaker
    2. When something smells like grapes I say it smells purple... It doesn't even occur to me to say it smells like grapes. I have no such problem when it comes to any other colour or associated flavour.
    3. I had full reconstructive surgery of my right knee. I'm unsure if it was even worth it. It's hurt like a bugger daily for 5 years.

    Hi I'm Martin, only re-joined today after a 4yr absence - oops

    1 - I can complete a Rubiks Cube in less than 10 minutes from any starting point (those under 20yrs ask your parents what a Rubiks Cube is)
    2- I have a hamster called Alan
    3 - Misophonia is when a person is annoyed by the sound of someone breathing, eating, or walking (you didn't say the random fact had to be about me)

    1. My favorite time of the day is when the very tips of the evergreen trees is lit up by the last of the sun as it sets.
    2. I can watch the same movie over and over again and enjoy it just as much as if it's the first time.
    3. I lost my Mom two years ago yet it still feels like yesterday.

    2) I wear many hats in my career. I am an independently contracted web and social media person who also does booking, press releases and event planning. BUT in my down time I also make vintage inspired jewelry and sell vintage clothing. :)
    3) I am a total nerd. I love Star Wars, Magic the Gathering, Buffy the vampire Slayer and a good time video game.

    OMG Magic! My oldest plays that. I could not grasp the cards/levels/etc.

    1.) After sucking the first time around, I returned to college and recently graduated with honors.

    2.) My first CD was A Tribe Called Quest's Midnight Marauders.

    3.) I have no tattoos and I'm thankful for that. Not that I think tattoos are bad but if I got any of the tattoos I had in mind when I was younger I would be kicking myself today. Maybe some day!

    Random Facts:

    1 - When I was around three my mother got the idea in her head she wanted more holes in my ears to put earrings in. She decided the best way for her to do this was with a large sewing needle, rubbing alcohol and a candle. She got two more holes in on the right side before I was utterly hysterical. So, I have three holes (one professionally done) on my right ear and only the professional one on my left.

    2 - The picture with my ticker is my feline service animal Alex the Mighty going after that very last morsel of food in the can I chunked into the trash.

    3 - I can cut my own hair without it looking like Edward Scissorhands took a stab at it.
