Just joined MFP for the second time last Monday and joined this group yesterday (7/15). Love this idea and will definitely post my weight on Friday morning. Heading to NY next weekend and I want to look super sexy...on a mission!!0

Hey ! I'm up for participating in this too ! I am also one of those "weigh every day" (before I get in the shower each morning), but I will post here on Fridays! I just re-set my weight to what it was this morning (150) so I can start fresh (it has been at 150.4 and 150.6) earlier in the week. I know it can fluctuate a lot (up and down) over the course of several days (or in the same day!), but good to have a weekly number to stick to! And I completely agree that a little boost is needed to fortify the discipline for the weekend !0

0.5kg (just over a lb) down this morning. Bit disappointed, after my crazy 4lb binge eat gain last week. Would have thought it'd be more this week. Never mind.

So if I count from last week, I'm down 1 lb, but last week I was up in weight. Two weeks ago, I was at 190.6, and this week I'm at 190. I've been bouncing between 189-191 for the past two weeks. Hoping that I will soon stay below 190.
Still pretty happy though. I'm definitely losing inches. I think total I have lost 5 inches from my hips, but only 1 inch from my waist. I'm starting to think I'm going to look pretty unbalanced soon if I don't start losing more from my waist!0 -
Down 0.4 …. not my weekly goal, but after a vacation and a week of not being in full swing, will say I'm happy!

sadly I am up 1/2 lb this morning. But, last night I went to a friends for dinner, so ate a bit more than normal and had some wine. So, I'm hoping that it might be that....and I'll be back down soon. We'll see I guess.

Was at 149.6 this morning, which is down 0.4. Not much, but I am just happy to see something below the 150 mark. I hope I can keep it there ! Congrats to everyone and keep it up!0

I am up this Friday 168.2 (2 lbs more then last week), but as I mentioned it was long working hours and I got an average of 3-5 hours sleep per night since Monday. I didn't eat much more then usual, but I see the co-relation with weight and sleep since I wear my Bodymedia. Also, TOM...:indifferent: ...so I guess it all played a part.
:flowerforyou: It is my B-day today and I am still debating to buy a B-day cake, since my son loves B-days and without a cake it wouldn't be a real B-day. He really tries to make this day special for me and he is only 5 :smooched: :happy: .
I guess, counting it a piece of cake for the next 2-3 days wouldn't hurt. We celebrate b-day only ones a year......your 2 cents on it???0 -
Happy Birthday LunaStar! In the past I've gotten a cupcake from one of those fancy cupcake shops so that I wouldn't have a big cake around all week. But me and cake have some real issues with each other, it's a big trigger food for me. All that frosting makes me go insane! Or you could get one of those smaller cookie cakes? I'd just get something smaller so you can minimize the time it will be around! Hope it's a good one!0

Get the cake! Your son will be so disappointed if there isn't any! Whenever there's a birthday in our house the banners go up and a cake is bought. We sing Happy Birthday and blow out candles and all. Mainly for the children, but I always think it's a nice touch anyway, for whoever's birthday it is.

Lost 1.4 lbs this week! Considering I was on a vacation for a holiday weekend with my parents who are great chefs, that is a big WIN! I'm feeling very empowered by my consistency, looking forward to a calm, non-TOM, non-vacation week ahead to get a bigger number next week.
Woohoo for a total of 7.8 lbs lost in 3 weeks! :happy:

Thanks for the B-day wishes. Unfortunately I had to post-pone the b-day bash, but I will get the cake!!! Thanks for the encouragement.
I lost in the last 8 weeks 13lbs and it is crazy how loose my clothes are. I have a pair of slacks which I had altered (taken in) last year in Greece and they are already falling off my hips again.
So, you all are right-I deserve a cake day.....I have been good the last 2.5 month.

Lost 2.6 lbs this week! Positive reinforcement for tracking my eating 6 out of 7 days. Woohoo!
Starting weight = 230.8 lbs
Today's weight = 221.2 lbs

I am not so happy with myself this week, I am up one whole pound. But, I am not surprised. Two weeks ago I was 146.5, then up 1/2 lb and now I am 148.

Made it 149.6 today!!! So happy to have crawled down to the 140s. Now my goal to get to 130's. With 10 lbs, it will a good 1.5-2 months, but I can't wait for it.

It has been a long time since I checked in with this group, but today I am weighing in at 143.6. I leave for holidays tomorrow and not happy with that number. However I have no one to blame but my self. On the bright side it could be worse. I am hoping to watch what I eat over the next 2 1/2 weeks and try to eat clean and run.0
