Well I put in a DVD called Fitness Forever....geared toward the 'mature' adult (that would be oldie but goodie!!). I did the cardio for 30 minutes and it was not enough to get my heart rate up to target, but did get me moving. I enjoyed where the DVD was shot...on Lake Tahoe...beautiful scenery!! I think it is more for the older person that has not exercised in a while, so a bit disappointing...but not bad if I want to do it on alternate days. So my second exercise is done!! How about you guys???

So far I've only exercised my eyelids (opening them) and my fingertips (typing this on my phone)!

My second exercise was aqua pilates.

    MEH.

I watched a couple of videos on youtube to get the gist of this and then took my noodles into the lake. First I did aqua yoga for my first exercise, then the pilates. I definitely worked and stretched some muscles and really liked the ab work, but it was really kind of boring. I'd much rather do aquasize where I'm pumping and jumping and working up some good cardio and then add the stretching type exercises at the beginning and end of the aquasize.

I think the exciting part of pilates is actually working on all those wild looking apparatuses that look a bit medieval rack-ish. None of those in the lake.

Trying to think of something else to do that I will enjoy. My legs are nearly dead with three days of bike ridges and walking, but I could manage something, just not sure.

I did a 10-minute ab workout youtube video. I didn't like it, but I imagine I'll be feeling it tomorrow!

I added some burpees into my circuit training. They were rough haha. Maybe a little down the line I will enjoy them more, but at the moment I think I will avoid them.

    What's a burpee?

In my world, that's a vegetable seed.

The burpee is a full body exercise used in strength training and as an aerobic exercise. The basic movement is performed in four steps and known as a "four-count burpee":

    Begin in a standing position.
Drop into a squat position with your hands on the ground. (count 1)
Kick your feet back, while keeping your arms extended. (count 2)
Immediately return your feet to the squat position. (count 3)
Jump up from the squat position (count 4)

This is how the exercise is described on Wikipedia. I think they forgot step five though. Immediately regret the decision to do this exercise.

Zumba!! I still can't dance, but it got me interested enough to try a real class.
