Auspicious August WL Challenge

Greetings, all! I'm honored and excited to be posting my first challenge as one of our group's moderators. As always, credit for the verbiage below goes to Dan
If you are new and want to join in, by all means do! We love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:
Name: (if you'd like to share)
My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Life time goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)
Weigh ins: What days you will weigh in. (I will weigh in on Fridays in August)
8/1/14= (Fill out after each weigh in.)

8/22/14=
8/29/14= (Final weigh in for the month.)
The simplest way to do this is to find your previous weeks post, copy the text then click the reply button. Paste the text in and add your new weight.
Also, if you are quoting someone to send them a kudo or offer a hand up, please add @theirusername to the top of the text so we can keep who's who straight (very helpful when we get over 100 posts per month :-)
As unbelievable as it is, we're heading into the end of summer (sad face :-( ). I plan to make the most of this opportunity to get out there and enjoy the beautiful weather, harvest some delicious, fresh produce from my garden, and start a long-awaited project. How about you? How are you going to make your August the most auspicious one yet?

Weigh-ins are tricky. My scale gave up the ghost. I am going to try to get to Transitions once a week to for weigh-ins. I know for certain I will be weighed on 8/27 as I see my shrink that day.

Last night weighed in at 270.2. This morning 266.2. I'd like to loose 10 pounds this month. I think that's doable since I tend to loose 5 pounds water weight right off the bat.
