4 weeks - gained 1 pound, lost 1 1/2 inches

So it's been 4 weeks since I've been eating more. I've gained a pound and lost at least an inch and a half. (The reason I say that is there are 2 measurements I didn't do the first time that I should have.) My pants and bras feel looser. BUT when I tried on my bridesmaid dress two days ago for a wedding I'm in next month, it was a little tight. I'm a little nervous, the wedding's in three weeks, but I think I will continue on with what I'm doing and hopefully I'll be fine.

It was a little nerve wrecking seeing the scale go up, even a little. I gained 10 pounds in almost 2 years and had lost 5. Those extra pounds are a lot on my short, small frame and I'd really like to see all of the extra fat go away. I hope by being consistent, a year from now I will see a big difference.

Scary stuff! I have been eating an average of 2100 per day for the past four weeks. I gained 5pounds back the first week, now I'm up just half a pound. I want to lose more weight so not sure what I will do with my calories. Good luck!

Great progress!! :) The tape measure is the best way to track your results as there are so many other variables reflected on the scale alone. Great job on increasing your calories. Keep it up! Being consistent is the most important thing!

I've read about this problem in more than one post, it's weird to lose inches but still have tight clothes ! was your dress tighter than it it is now ?
It's been two weeks since I increased my calories, I've gained 6 pounds on the first three days then lost 4 and stuck with two pounds now, lots of people said it takes time ..

I had a tough time hearing 'it takes time' but knowing I'm in it for the long haul it has been worth the calorie playing!

It was a tiny bit tight when I got it, then I lost 5 pounds and it was loose and now it's tight again. It looks better in the tummy section now, but I'm sort of scared to sit in it because of how it feels! The odd things is that pretty much all of my day to day clothes are getting looser, so I know I'm making progress. Not sure what to think about the dress!

Thanks! The consistency thing is what I'm bad at!!! I've skipped workouts the past two days. It's back to school week for my girls so it's been a crazy week and I've been going non-stop. Going to get back on track with the exercise tomorrow. And I'm working really hard to stay faithful with measuring out my food and logging everything. I know if I quit I'll be back to where I don't want to be in no time!
