Did you know that:
100g of sour cream has only 3 carbs for 20g of fat .
100g of mayonnaise has only 1 carb for 79g of fat (Calve is the brand used here)...
These two facts brought a smile to my face even though i could never eat 100g of mayonnaise or sour cream.
What is your food that you avoided for so long and can finally enjoy again?
Bacon probably tops most lists.

Sour cream, I use to avoid it thinking I couldn't eat it. Bloody love me some sourcream!!
Adding back in bacon ect has been nice, I enjoy not worrying about fat and just watching carbs, I actually find it a lot easier to avoid carbs than fat...0 -
great.

Mascarpone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mascarpone)
For 100gr: 407kcal, 4.8 proteins, 4.8 carbs, 41g fat
My gf prepares a mascarpone-based cream as breakfast, for when we get bored of fried bacon&eggs, sausages, etc..
50gr mascarpone + 1 medium egg.
Add 1/2 tsp of dark chocolate or a bit of vanilla, lemon, orange or what you prefer as flavour.
Whip until fluffy.
Enjoy. :-)0 -
Roasted pork belly. Heck, most things pork-derived make me very happy.0

I ran into Creme Fraiche at the store. 40% milk fat, goes great in the slaw.0
