Getting out of Dodge...

So, I'll be heading out of town for a few weeks, and I'm wondering how to handle my macros/exercise. I doubt I will have access to any weights (I don't want to sign up for a full blown gym membership when I only need a month).

So, how would I handle this? I can do some body weight exercises, but what would be the recommendation? Also, how would I adjust my macros? Would I just leave them where they are? Do I drop the calories down?

    Good questions.

    What are your goals?

I'm still trying to drop fat (I've seem to hit the point where it's harder) but I'd like to maintain as much lbm as possible while doing so. I'm 5'4 and 139-140lbs. Goal weight is 125-130lbs. I could be gone anywhere from 2-4 weeks. If it was just a week, I wouldn't worry about it.

What do you expect your activity levels to be like while away?

I'm not entirely sure how active I'll be. I'm going to guess lightly active with some days more than others.

Would you expect to less active than usual?

I'm actually hoping to be more active  , other than not having my 3x week normal weight sessions. I'm expecting to be out and about more, but it will not be like a workout type activity.

When I had to stay in hotels at lot for work (they were too tight to pay for hotels with gyms!) I used to take my resistance bands away with me. Lots of the lifts I do have a resistant band option for them. Obviously it's not in the same league as lifting, but it was just that little bit more than just body weight and kept me ticking over. Plus bands are light, easy to pack and because there is no other equipment you don't need masses of space.

Check out Scooby's home-made TRX trainer and he has plenty of workout routines on his website and youtube channel.

I made my own using bicycle handle grips rather than pvc pipe (as in his video) and they're great!!!

I travel every week and I can get to a gym for $10 a night or sometimes they do a 4 day deal for $35. When I was on vacation, I got 10 days for $45. Well worth it for me to stay on track fitness wise.

What gyms were these? Golds gym does monthly, but there are none near where I'm going.
