I "graduated" to some soft foods today --- eggs, soft cheeses, and fish!! Woo hoo
I never knew that I would be so happy to make a scrambled egg.

Thanks! I actually made two scrambled eggs but could only eat one. I was surprised and the dog was happy.0

I felt the same way when I was approved to go to purred foods. I now have 1 more week and I should be approved to go to regular foods. I was sleeved on Sept 15. I also look forward to my egg whites every morning.....hehe.0

I have three more days of "regular" eating. Then my two week pre-op, 30-carb day diet. And then I'll be right behind you.
It's good to hear someone who has recently survived the first couple of weeks and "graduated." Thanks for sharing and congratulations!0 -
Thanks! I am struggling right now because I am getting really tired of eggs and fish. My surgeon has a very limited soft food menu for weeks 3 through 7 --- she does not use the pureed stage at all. Is anyone else struggling with that type of menu??0

So...I have made it to week 5 but have been stalled for a week now. I am going to try to kick it up a bit by trying to increase my calories (was at 600 going to try for 700) and start some light strength training and cardio intervals. Going back to what worked at first --- using protein drinks to help get in the amount of protein needed.0
