Yesterday I made Pumpkin Creme Brulee, Pumpkin Coconut Curry Soup, and Pumpkin Ravioli with browned butter and sage.
The pumpkins came from my neighbor to the east, eggs from my hens, sage from my garden, and cream from anoter neighbors cows. I used it to make the butter as well as the Creme Brulee, eggs from my hens. I didn't grind wheat for the flour to make the Ravioli because I already had flour on hand.
Not great for someone dieting but it's worth the extra exercise!

URL for the recipe is below. I often use chicken broth instead of vegetable because I don't normally have the veggie handy.

I lost 3#'s last week splitting firewood. 5 out of 12 cords split & put away ... over 1,000 calories burned a day. Too tired to cook & eat ... couldn't eat all the calories I earned. Hope it sticks. Puts me in good position for the holidays.
I'm wondering if there is a group of clean eaters who raise their own chickens/quail?0
