Opposite of constipated

I've been eating keto for almost three weeks now and started having loose stools Sunday. They're still here today. I'm not going any extra but when I do.. Well, you know.
I thought I would be having the opposite problem. I've always eaten fairly low carb. I was just put on acarbose and after a couple weeks of that I decided to drop crabs rather than taking a pill everyday. I am reactive hypoglycemic.
My diary is open. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm drinking 100oz+ of water a day.
Thanks in advance

I had loose stools about two into keto. Only had it for a couple of days. I eat allot of green veggies and fats, and have a "cleansing" movement about every 5-7 days. I think its just my body flushing its self of waste from the meal plan.0

I'm also eating a lot of greens and fats. Thank you! I don't feel bad anything. It's just not what I'm used to.0

After looking at your food dairy, I see you in take some bars that have SAs in them. That ALWAYS makes me have loose stools! I take a few along if on a court writ of working over time and don't have a meal of real food ready. Makes my tummy rumble!0

This happened to me about 4 days in. And it lasted a good 5 or 6 days or so. At first I decided that maybe I needed to eat rice or something starchy to help and then resume keto after it passed. I did that for about 2 days. While I took my "break", I read about a person who had IBS (which I don't), who tried the keto diet. He said he had loose stools for about a week and then began to normalize. So I figured if he can do it, then so can I. Then I resumed my keto diet and decided to push through the loose stools. And after a week they became normal. One thing I did also do was to eliminate the sugar alcohols as Jerry mentioned above. Since this problem cleared up however, I have added back xylitol in small amounts (1 to 2 tsp) in my fatty tea and I have been fine. I do think it was some kind of cleansing or just my gall bladder or common bile duct getting used to all the fat. I have also heard it is good to do a liver flush when beginning this type of diet. I don't know personally though. Good luck!0

Are you supplementing with magnesium? Because I read somewhere that too much mag can cause loose stools.0

I'm actually not supplementing. I eat a lot of foods that have magnesium like spinach, broccoli, butter, hemp oil, green beans, etc. I was thinking about supplementing until this happened.0 -

I always think its better to eat your RDAs then to pop pills. But i do take a daily vitamin, nothing fancy. Just what Sam's Club has.

Agree on both points.
For the basic (alphabet) vitamins it's fairly easy to hit the RDA's just with proper mix of foods consumed.
Mag & Potass though, as trace minerals aren't quite as easy. It can be done (as you said with mag vegs) but many times the food databases aren't detailed enough to include those items (especially with user entered foods and recipes.
Both have clearly been shown to matter a lot (especially in typical LC diets) so, like you, I'm a believer in the multi a day to ensure hitting the minimums.
For those willing to invest the time and effort required to be certain they actually ARE hitting the RDA's just with their food choices that's great (and they don't need the tabs) but for "most" of us it makes sense (IMO).
