    good morning! Monday again....

Study break is over, drove our son back to university yesterday, he came home in a dumping rain and wind storm - and that is what we drove him back in. Man, I am really getting tired of this dark dreary weather. Oh a good note, though....our roof shingles are all intact!

Today I plan to run. Its November, a new month. I need to make some goals and stick to a plan, like I did this spring. I really don't want to end up like I did last winter, in a huge rut and I just could NOT get out of it. I am going to think of some realistic goals for this month and do my best to stick to them.

I have a trainer session tonight. Typically I run on Mondays but since I did my run on Sunday instead of Saturday this weekend I might wait & run tomorrow instead. I rarely run two days in a row anyway, and never the day after my "long" run. But if Jason wants me to run tonight I will. The past couple Mondays I've been apathetic about doing it, he's told me he wants me to, and I've had great runs.

Didn't eat well yesterday again but scale was down a little anyway this morning. Would like to make this a good week. Am pretty frustrated with myself.

Still thinking about the struggle/quit threadstarter from last week. Great words.

So after I posted my November healthy goals in the other thread, I went in the kitchen and it had TONS of sweets. Silver star for me!

This morning I got up and hit the treadmill for about 25 minutes while I read a trashy mag. Last month I was quite active in my daily moving but didn’t work out much. Felt good to get up and boogie. I’m letting the time change be my friend and rising early. I also had lunch at 11AM 

Weekend was okay, not great, but not bad. Right now I am in an annoyingly good mood.

    Welcome Determined!

Laura - I grew up in St Peter, MN. It has Gustavus Adolphus College in it. :)

Sherry - Glad you are easing back into it. I've heard of a lot of people causing more permanent injuries because they didn't let the smaller injuries heal completely.

Yesterday was a better day for me food wise. I'm still letting my toe heal, but have started doing some yard work and walking the kids to school to get back into being a bit more active. I keep focusing on a big convention in February where I'll have my pic taken quite a bit. I want to look good for that, so I think about that every time I'm tempted to eat something I don't want to. Tried it yesterday and it seemed to work. Hopefully it will work for me today too!

My goal is to get the yard back into shape and deep clean the house before I have my hysterectomy. I know I'll do a better job of relaxing if I'm not staring at a filthy house.

    Have a great Monday everyone!

Well yesterday was a good first day, I didn't count Sunday as being a day in my list of November goals though as it was my "test" day ;) Today is proving to be a good day, I have worked out, prayed, read my devotional, stayed positive, so far still within my calories, just about to reach my H20 goal...I am pretty happy with the day :)
