Few years back lost good 50lbs. Time past became stay at home mom & 60 lbs has delivered itself to my doorstep. Time to return to sender. Help!

Yep, life gets in the way sometimes, but if we don't take care of ourselves who will.
My walking stopped when I had a flare up of Plantar fasciitis, then I had knee surgery, then I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and now another knee surgery. I was my mom care taker for several years (she passed away May 4 this year).
My husband say he wants to lose weight but he keeps buying chips, candy and ice cream.

We just have to jump in and do it. Believe in ourselves and keep moving.

Coming to MFP is a step in the right direction. We just have to bring some willpower with us. ;)

Good luck on your journey and hope we see less of each other in 2015.

As a rule of thumb, the following weekly targets would give a balance between minimizing negative side effects and seeing a reasonable weekly weight loss:

    More than 75 lbs. 2 lbs./week
    40-75 lbs. 1.5 lbs./week
    10-40 lbs. 1 lb./week
    Less than 10 lbs. 0.5 lb./week
