Happy New year all you kiwis here :) been a while since I popped in this group.
Ate and drank Way to much on ny's, I didn't even bother tracking accurately ;)
Aside from leftover cake in fridge was given on my way out from one of the parties, think have recovered and am back to a relatively normal diet again.
Didn't meet my 60kg goal for 2014 unfortunately, but am determined to do it by March this year!!

It has been a couple of years since I have been active with MFP, so great time to start at the beginning of the year. nicnz - i'm with you on the eating and drinking everything that came along - so this morning was a great time for the fruit and veggies buy. I have Annabel Langbein's - Chicken Satay salad lined up for dinner - won't take long to put it all in. Looking forward to hitting the gym in the morning for a session with the weights - not sure how the body will feel afterwards :) Here's to a healthy 2015 !!

I'd love a fitbit, might save up for one when I get back to work. I seem to be quite consistent with my activity luckily, I'd hate to think of where I would be weight wise if I wasn't with my Christmas snacking.

I have been so slack, Xmas / NY was all about the gluttony, time to make it right.
Hello All, haven't been here in about 5 months. Tracking food from today and back at the pool.

Hi, I didn't do too much damage over Christmas, but just that little bit I put on was enough to give me a fright and start focusing again. :D

Trying again after losing over 10 kg put it back on. Here we go again this time I have no intentions of increasing my exercise or eating the extra points gained from exercise as I will not keep the exercise up..... Live in Waituna West near Feilding. Happy to add anybody for support.... :)

I'm back. I'm too scared to stand on the scales, and I find it really demotivating. I have been swimming since the beginning of december, but not watching what I eat. So now I will do both. For the first time today, I swam 1km in freestyle (normally I switch between fs & backstroke cause I loose my breath!) so I'm stoked with that. Only did 30 minutes though, but I've been away for a week, so its taking a few times to get back to 40 min swims (& I was worn out after 30 mins!). Feel free to add me.

    Hi Bridgie, great idea!
I'm doing feb fast so feeling decided sober, always hard to resist wine!
I tend not to workout to music, walk with hubby it's our together time.
Going camping for weekend, be our last chance before the night times get too cool and my work gets busy and high pressure for end of financial year.
    Your turn?
    Anyone else?

Foodwise peanut butter's got a pretty strong hold on me, I work with 5-13yr olds so puppy dog eyes when they want something is pretty dam hard to resist.
Music currently enjoying timber-pitbull, shake it off-Taylor swift and all about that bass but I get bored pretty quickly and tend to go back to old favs like green day, violent femmes & off spring.
I haven't got plans only found out it was a holiday today, kinda feels like I should do something worthwhile, camping sounds good not sure if any of my folk would be keen tho lol.

Nice that you get to enjoy your walks with someone, where abouts in nz are you?

My primary exercise is cycling with the occasional bit of scuba thrown in. Obviously music and scuba doesn't work, and I prefer to be able to hear the traffic while I'm cycling. Hard to resist? That's hard, there's so much; wine, ice cream, the peanut slice at my local cafe... The list goes on.

    Hi, checking in for today.
Had some good nutritious food today, still under calorie count and still need to do a walk for the day.
Busy day at work, not too much walking though mainly spent in office!

I've had a shocking day eating wise. I decided after netball I would go to the super and get some good choices, left the super market pleased with everything I purchased. Got home and family had brought me fish and chips of course I could say no thanks, ha ha but really that'll happen. I lost 20kg over a year ago and then just sort of tinkered I haven't really gained but I've lost my resolve. I was so on this for so long But now I can't seem to get it together.

You have kept most of it off though Bridgie?
Well done for that, I read somewhere yesterday sometimes a good idea to set a weekly calorie goal so you can make up for a big eating day later on.
Fish and Chips........c'mon, resistance is futile!!
Don't beat yourself up, just back on track tomorrow!!
