I had some fluid taken out in Sept because I just couldn't commit at that point and was having stuck episodes. Fall/Holidays were very stressful but I am back in the saddle now, I have gained back 18 of the 48 I had lost which stings but I am still down 30lbs from where I was in January 2013 before I got the band.

Need to evaluate this week when I am eating properly if I need an adjustment or not, I haven't been a good bandster at all the past few months (eating and drinking, not waiting an hour, no exercise, no tracking etc..) so I am doing my best to listen to my body this week in terms of feeling full, eating when I need to vs. want to etc...

Any other band tips anyone wants to share?

I am commenting so you know others go through the same thing you are! I had my band at 19 and lost 40 pounds only and got stuck at 215. I rarely had follow up appointments because my college was out of town. When I hit 21, it all came back and more! So I found a new doctor who would take my case.

Friday is my third appointment with my doctor and I struggled the first few months. It was a mind game. I had to tell myself all over that I couldn't eat hug portions.
I recently started to lose weight and this is what I did... start off on a liquid diet. After an adjustment, my doctor has me on a two day liquid diet. It helps to stop the hungry pains once you are done! I am also on a 1100 calorie diet which is hard for me and I haven't mastered it. But I drink a ton of water now. And honestly, telling myself "no" (and sometimes out loud) gets me through the day.

I am on a fresh streak, but so far so good.

Thanks, today I met with the nutritionist at my surgeons office, I needs help remembering how to eat with the band to make it work. Also back at the gym. I am holding off on a fill until I get a handle on eating, next week I can go for a full if I want one. My doc is 5 minutes from my house thankfully.
