I make this statement with no judgment for anyone who has had weight loss surgery as I deeply considered it and may be still an option for me however I really want the satisfaction of saying I did this without surgery.
I went through all the testing required prior to having the Gastric Sleeve done and at the last minute decided I will never feel right about it if I don't give this my all and do this myself. I would always wonder if I had the strength and commitment to do it without surgery.
For that reason, needing a complete knee replacement (they won't perform knee surgery until I lose 100 lbs) and dealing with my chronic daily pain and inability to move around much due to Arthralgia and Fibromyalgia are my main reasons for wanting to lose weight.0 -

Karen health is my motivation too. I also have chronic pain from joint problems and a nerve issue. I have been surprised by how much losing weight and gentle exercise have helped my pain level. But my big motivation was being diagnosed pre diabetic. Today my blood sugar has been normal range for over a year! Keep it up! We can do this!!0

Ok here's my saying of the day. I used to have a hard time throwing out any food. But now I say:
It either goes to waste or it goes to MY waist.
