    Have not been feeling the best, so I laid off the fitness for awhile but I did get in one day where I walked to the mail (.5 miles) but today I did 20 on the bike. Over my goal but I will keep on going cuz the month isn't over yet!

    Thanks Dave for fixing my goal. Now I really need to get there, right? Today I only added 1.5 miles, but I have a bonus day off tomorrow. Finally a chance to make up some miles.

    Well spent the day test riding road bikes. After an day of riding lots of bikes, I am ordering my new bike tomorrow. One thing I did not like was riding on the drops, hoods and the way the shifting and brakes work. So I did the next best thing, a flat bar road bike. It is a road bike in every way, but the bars. I am so happy with that, it weighs 1/3 the weight of my dependable MTB. I have gone to N+1, 2 bikes. So distance rides, here I come. I just threw in a few miles as I know I rode further, but don't know how many.

    @Anaconda469 - Congratulations! You'll have to post a picture. You're going to want to put climbing bars on that. On longer rides your going to want to be able to move your hands to different positions. It keeps them from getting numb or sore. I ride almost always on the hoods and bars but almost never in the drops unless there is no wind and I'm on a very long steep hill. I love trying to get over 50mph but you need to get low for that.

    @clephant, @darkrider42, @jth11706, I ordered my new road bike today, I decided on a Fuji Absolute 2.0 LE. Should get it 7 to 10 days. And got it on sale too. Like the flat bars way better than the road bars, hurt my lower back to much.

    Nice bike! :-) Well done. By the way, I had to have the stem extended or my back hurts too. My bars aren't round either. They are oval to help fit my hands better. I love them! I had the stem raised and the goose neck brought back towards me and got wider bars so I can move my hands around. There is nothing like getting a bike that fits. You are going to love your new bike! :smile:

    A few more today. I only have to run 1.77 miles a day for the rest of the month to make my goal. Or four days at 3.11. I think I got this!!
