    Am I missing something here? If the muscle was the same size as the fat it would weigh more than the fat, right? So muscle weighs more than fat.

    It's a question of density, jknight. 1 lb of fat is as heavy as 1 lb of muscle. Because of it's higher density, the pile of muscle looks smaller as it has the smaller volume

    If you have two blocks of the same size, the muscle would be heavier.

    Point being if you have alot of muscle, you are heavier but can wear smaller clothes. And you look good in them :p

    I've been on 5:2 since the start of Feb and have consistently lost 1lb every week.

    I`ve on my fourth week, and lost approx 0.5-0.8 kg every week. First week was exceptional, then I lost 2 kg! Wish that could`ve continued ;) I find this quite an easy way to lose weight :)Good luck to everyone!

    Here's my progress for the past month with very LITTLE exercise. I'm so pleased. It's slow but consistent weight loss. I think I've found my new lifestyle.
