    I wish I could run, that is my goal as I lose more weigh. I am going to try the couch to 5k app and on Thanksgiving I want to do a 5k Turkey Trot with my 19 year old daughter....:)

    I started running when I was 25 and 205 lbs (my heaviest). It has taken me eight years, but now I really do love it. I think that now that I am fit enough to not tire easily, it's more enjoyable. I started with run/walk programs and I did three half marathons that way. These days I prefer shorter races, and I'm even to the point that I enjoy running without a race in mind. I hope you can get started soon and love it too!
