I realize that he's a brilliant marketer, but has anyone tried his coffee and MCT Oil and noted a difference between them & mainstream products? I'm almost to the end of my bottle of regular MCT Oil and was considering trying his.

I have not. I would love to hear from people that have used it and loved it that aren't just experiencing cognitive dissonance and rationalizing their purchase.

I read a review on it, on a blog or something somewhere. The reviewer said he didn't notice much difference in the coffee as he uses high quality coffee already. But he did like the brain octane oil. I can't remember why he liked it though. Sorry I'm in a little brain fog today, I think it was off a page I saw on pinterest, if I can find it I wll post it.

I picked up some Lipix InstantEdge instant coffee with cocoa and MCT oil already mixed in. Just add hot water and whatever extra fats you want (I use heavy cream).
I actually bought the stuff after doing some research and read something about how on keto I should be having more coconut / MCT oil, but I really didn't want to jump on the BulletProof Gimme All Your Extra Moneys bandwagon. Totally just bought it because the price was right, it had "that oil stuff I need" + chocolate + was EASY (just add water and stir in cream).
The first day I had it, I was INCREDIBLY productive at work to the point of ridiculousness.
The productivity has kept up for the past month or so I've been taking it, too.
When I got home, I looked over the label and saw the whole "BRAIN FUEL" thing. I hadn't even noticed when I bought it. All I saw was "MCT oil + coffee + chocolate + instant". HAH!

I tried adding coconut oil to it for extra fat at the start of the day and it actually made me sick to my stomach and HUNGRY, in spite of the extra calories and fats.

I would love to hear other peoples' experiences with MCT oils and coffee / tea. I am kind of interested to try this one "especially for women" version that includes cacao butter and hemp hearts.
