Top 10 grocery items for a good week

For me, healthy eating is impossible without a weekly trip to the grocery store, armed with a list of power foods. Here are my 10 must-haves, tell me yours!

baby carrots
salad makin's
an alternating veggie to roast (brussel sprouts, fennel, broccoli, asparagus)
apples
bananas
eggs
Strong & Kind almond bars
cottage cheese
Greek yogurt
chicken (to roast on Sunday, for protein thoughout the week)

    Peppers - hot and sweet
    mushrooms - put them in lots of dishes
    eggs
    meats - mostly lean
    plain yogurt
    cheese
    apples
    Berries
    Greens of various types
    Tortillas - sometimes corn sometimes lower calorie flour


    I keep bananas stocked up in the freezer and stock up on protein bars and powders and stock up on frozen veggies ....so those aren't weekly purchases

    Greek Yogurt
    Finest Natural Golden Ground Flaxseed (I eat it with the above)
    Big bag of Cooking with Spinach and Baby Kale
    Cucumbers
    Tomatoes
    Blueberries (Dole brand) , blackberries, strawberries
    Red grapes
    Tribe Forty Spice brand of hummus
    Mozzarella or Feta cheese

    Then I add in beans(pinto, black, garbanzo), lentil soups,corn tortillas, more veggies like carrots and frozen broccoli florets.

    Salad mix and toppings, dried cranberries, chia seeds, nutritional yeast, oil/vinegar
    Proteins - Turkey, salmon, beef, mahi mahi, and chicken
    Veggies - edamame and picsweet boxes

    I buy all my veggies and meats frozen unless there is a sale.
