    5.6 mile run/walk. Ran 2 miles, cut four seconds off my fastest time. A few seconds after I stopped, a wasp landed on my fingers. If he had done that thirty seconds sooner, I could have shaved a few more seconds off the time. But at least my "get it off!!!" dance burned an extra calorie or two. :smiley:

    After testing various saddles for my bike, I bought a Terry endurance saddle. Because I do have long days in the saddle, this was the best option. I am comfortable, plus this shop did a refit to check my position and saddle height. I had a general bike fitting (three times) and work on the bike trainer to get the saddle fit just right, handle bar, and everything related to fit, even though I did not buy my bike there. That is one great shop, Western Bike Works in Tigard, Oregon. Ready for Giro, bring it on!

    05/08 - 3.0 miles cycling (turbo trainer, saddle fitting)
    05/08 - 6.0 miles cycling

    Total: 90.0 miles

    Spent some time with visiting my mom today and getting things organized for my daughters first apartment. Lots of back and forth, but not much real moving involved. Added 2 miles today, hope I get more time walking tomorrow.

    On Thursday I did some hefty walking - pushing my grandson in his pram - 8 miles, then a short 4 with DH. I slept well!!!

    I've been in the "city" the last couple of days doing medical, dental and dermatology appointments. These appointments were for both my husband & I so I did not get in too many miles but since last posting I'm adding 11. (10 from bike & 1 on foot) Will "try" to get some in today though.

    The new saddle is such a blessing. Went to do some small miles and got some fairly big ones instead. Plus 85 degrees with some breeze, nothing better on a Saturday.

    05/09 - 15.0 miles cycling (Giro challenge stage 1)
