Salt pills, anyone?

Just wondering if anyone takes salt pills to get their sodium? I'm only 7 weeks in and I'm getting tired of boullion broth. I've tried eating straight salt when I don't have time for a cup of broth, but that's not the most palatable method. Any ideas?

Pickles! And, yes, I'll take SaltSticks with me on some runs (thanks to DonP for that tip).0

Hmm do you feel like you need the extra salt or is it just something you've read you need to do? Just curious because I salt my food but not overly salt and feel ok0

I add salt to my water and also used to take salt capsules if I felt I needed more (which, at this point of the year, means I went outside for more than 3 minutes and started sweating). Since I'm getting more active and outside more, I've added them to my existing pills, one at breakfast, one at lunch, and one at dinner. About 600mg extra in those. I use Real Salt's Relyte.0

I definitely need it, because I can tell the difference when I forget. By 4:00 I get so lethargic I feel like I'm getting the flu. I even have to double up on those days when I don't feel like eating. Its just, the thought of adding another supplement does not appeal to me, although I like the idea of the convenience factor. Maybe I should just try eating it straight and washing it down with my coffee in the morning?
I'll check out your thread, Dan. And Web, I wish I liked pickles. That would make it so much easier.0 -

I add salt to my LOADED TEA I make for breakfast and just be sure to salt my food as much as I can tolerate. You can salt your water or tea, and just a little will just amp up the other flavors. It's all about preference. You could also try brining some of your meat before cooking it... Just a thought!0 -
I eat a boiled egg at breakfast and load it with salt. Bacon is about the only added salt food that I eat so I was coming up short. Bush hogged with the tractor yesterday and lost salt. I sleep on a far infrared heat mat and often lose salt at night.0
