I just passed the 12 month mark. I am celebrating the next stage of my life (though somewhat cautiously after having read some posts about women still getting a random period after one year). Nonetheless, I am so happy to have reached this milestone. I was very fortunate in that my experience was not that bad. Yes there were hot flashes but that's about it.

I've had two "real" periods in 2015, both random and short. I always hope it's the last! Can I will myself to be done? lol.

Hooray! No more cycles! I'm still in the slowing down process and expect to be there for some time lol.

I've gone four and a half months without anything and feel its too soon to be so hopeful. I think my consistent exercise routine may be helping but can't believe it would impact my cycle so much that it would not occur....

    I'd totally be feeling hopeful!

Segue: in reading blogs, and books, they talk about the moodiness and depression, and anxiety and some of them chalk it up to us feeling upset because our reproductive years are ending, our ability to create a life and all that. That we're some how sad it's all ending...

for me? umm, no. We don't have kids, by choice. If my period were like it used to be I'd not mind it and wouldn't be praying for it to be over. It's the wacked out hormones etc. THATs why I'm anxious. And YES, I want it to end! lol

(that said, I've been feeling pretty great for about a month now.)

Happy NSV (non-scale victory)! One month at a time.

Absolutely. It's been a while since I've had a real period, and I feel good. Whatever I'm doing, eating wise, and supplement wise, it's working! That's a NSV for sure!
