Hey ladies and gents. I'm going out to dinner w/ my boyfriend this evening and wanted to know is there a place online where I can find a bunch of restuarants nutritional info at? I'd like to compare a few before venturing out.
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

I would look up the options at the most likely places you might go. And not all restaurants list their info online.0

I always just know I can get a burger (skip the bun) or steak pretty much anywhere. I can eat the toppings off of pizza, etc. A bunless burger, slathered in cheese, bacon, mayo, mustard, veggies (go light on onions if you like them) is always my back up option. For Mexican - fajitas, skip the rice, beans, and tortillas, and double up on the other stuff...
So, pretty much any meat is a compromise. Seafood can be carby, but not too terrible. Ask for sauces on the side. Salads are usually good, but have them put the dressing and croutons on the side. (Cobb salads and taco salads are great! Eggs, sour cream, guacamole, yes, please!).
Broccoli, asparagus, green beans, etc. are almost always safe...
I have a few other out to eat rules, but usually I go the burger or steak route. Steak with shrimp and mushrooms, yum!
(since I am pretty low carb, and I don't get anything really slathered in sauces, I generally don't worry too much about the prep methods and hidden carbs...)0 -
Keto Finder, not very complete but good enough. And it's an app that only lists keto friendly foods.0

This pretty much. Even the most die-hard pizza places usually have wings (if not salads). Just get the plain, bone-in wings and get something like ranch dressing or mustard on the side.0 -
All of the above sound great. My favorite is a bacon cheeseburger without the bun with the lettuce, tomato etc on the side, and maybe more veggies as well. I'd sometimes bring my own salsa from home in order to avoid sugary ketchup. At one of my favorite burger bars, I ordered grilled broccolini alongside the burger and it was such a satisfying meal....with a vodka and soda on the side !
At some restaurants you might be able to ask the server to investigate the kitchen for you. I had an Applebees waitress convince the kitchen to make me wonton tacos in lettuce wraps instead as an appetizer. Now I feel like the options are limitless, as long as I can find meat on the menu. At Red Lobster, we ordered extra melted butter and poured it on everything.
When I order a salad, I either bring my own salad dressing or ask them to bring me some plain olive oil and some lemon wedges. I don't want anything processed or with bad oils or flavourings.0 -
Any kind of grilled meat option is good, so long as it's not breaded or covered in sauce. Most meat options come with starchy sides, so I'll usually ask for extra veggies or a side salad without the dressing... and I will on occasion tell the waiter that I'm gluten-free just so I'm sure there's nothing on my plate I can't tolerate.0

What everyone else said. Also, if you track (I know some people are here for the forums.) choose foods that are zero carb for breakfast/lunch/snack so that you have allocated for extra hidden carbs if you are really worried. Otherwise, do your best! If you pick something that is higher carb than you thought, it's just one meal. Get back on track with the next one.0

Sounds like it!0 -
Marinades & sauces at buffets can make the carbs add up quick, but as long as stuff wasn't too drenched you're probably ok. And big-picture-wise, it's only 1 meal.0
