From my group ride early this morning in the local forest -- it was a really great day0 -
Thought I'd post a few from my trip down the Mickelson Trail. We did the entire 109 miles in about 10hrs ride time over 2 days. We had planned to ride back up but shite happens and we didn't make it. Still the best ride ever!

Here's a sad picture - only got about a mile from home before a car driver thought they would run the crossroads and plough into me.
Think my beloved Roubaix is beyond repair but maybe it might be brought back to life with a complete new frameset.
Good reminder to wear a cycle helmet though - significant damage to the helmet but not to my head. Luckily I got away with just bumps, grazes, bruises and a couple of sprained wrists. Lucky escape really.

It's been such a wet and rainy summer that it's been hard to get in time in the trails, but the fungi (and mosquitoes, no pictures) are thriving.

View from the top of Whitney Mountain in Northwest Arkansas. Rode up there today with a group of girls. Over 3,000 feet of elevation change in our 50 mile ride. (Seemed like it was uphill both ways!)

Cowbells and Coffee could you give me advice on where to purchase socks and what types of socks to purchase? Because you know, "More Cowbell!!". It was brought to my attention that I wear the wrong socks and since I admire your socks I was hoping you would have some advice. Totally because I wear similar combinations, but haven't seen good patterns in above the ankle socks around here.
