Everyone loves posting pics OF their rides (bikes), but how about pics from your rides? Here's a chance to show off your local trails, favorite roads, or vacation rides.
Pretty typical of my home trails... though this is one of the few flat spots.
Only loosely representitve of how brutally rocky and technical this trail system is - Moosic trails just out side of Scranton PA
My hill (that's 19% grade right there), about a half mile from my house. Pretty much required riding when riding from home.
Probably my favorite ride ever - Gates Pass just outside of Tucson AZ.

Took a detour on my way to meet the family about two weeks ago and stumbled on some trails. Ended up paying the price though with 3 broken spokes. Skinny wheelset + rocky trails = misery at the bike shop.0 -

Elk Medows Trail Evergreeen CO
The view of Golden, CO from the top of South Table Mountain (this was January I think, which is why it was so brown and it hadn't snowed for a while which is why I was able to get a ride in at all):
The view from the top of Matthew Winters Morrison, CO:
Ridgeline Castle Rock, CO. Check out my sexy leg warmers. Another ride from last winter

Oh and this one is really old, I think from before my husband and I got married. The Kokopeli trail system near Fruita, CO. I think it might be Mack's Ridge which I had no business being on. I think I had to walk the rest of the way from here.

Lets see if this works... a wee pic from my ride up to the top of Katore Road that is the town that I live in Rotorua and Lake Rotorua (which is across the road from me here at work) in the distance..
This is the sign out the front of the Okere Falls Store.. we decided to ride 25km on our MTB's out there for lunch one crappy Saturday morning.. what a fantastic idea
This is the 141 metre (156 yards) long, 50 metre high swing bridge that we crossed on the Timber Trail during the Christmas Holidays.. I walked over it holding both sides, and my bike was transported across by a friend once I was safely on the other side.. yikes!!
This is from my ride up to the Pencarrow Lighthouse in Wellington at Easter.. interesting place, the wind was so strong it actually pushed my up that steep hill that I didn't think I would have a chance of climbing!!
Ok, I might have gotten a little excited about figuring out how to post pictures, so will stop now :flowerforyou:0 -
Pic from the top of a soap box derby hill where I start many of my rides. Ain't East Texas beautiful???? :-/

Here's a few pics from our favorite ride: Mill Creek Metroparks Bike Trail:
A little of the scenery:
Currently one end of the line (more will be added as land deals go through -- eventually this trail will extend from the Ohio river to Lake Erie, a little over 100 miles)

I'm new to this whole cycling thing and it's far safer for all parties if I stay off the actual roads (and away from people, trees, fences, etc.). I ride on a local rails to trails, usually around sunset.

Bumping so I can try and remember to take some pictures on my next ride. Lately I've been doing a lot of urban rides but here in Colorado it's hard to find scenery that isn't nice to look at.0

Soooo many beautiful places to ride!!
This morning's ride...a new technical trail with lots of granite. The trail is around the first big rock, down the second and on top of the third flat rock and around the big boulder....
My friend waiting for me down at the bottom. Afternoon thunderstorms have caused a rut on this trail and the line is actually down the flat rock.
This is a trail on a mountain above the desert floor. Very steep, narrow, rocky trail. Not the best picture.

I did the New Belgium Tour de Fat yesterday. It was just a leisure cruise but it was one of the better events I've done and freeee! If only it hadn't been almost 100 degrees...

Denver City Park
This is a beautiful sight
Fabulous people watching
If this event comes to your city, I highly recommend going. It is a bike lover's heaven.0 -
A quick snap from Friday's afternoon ramble.
It did storm up later that evening, plenty of thunder and lightning with shorts bursts of intense rain. Feel that it is wetter here than the NW (at the moment!).0 -
I ride with a group of coworkers and Our Leader Dan got a GO PRO he finally started adding the videos. I hope you can check out some of the videos sorry if there are swears in the videos. He is still working on getting the angle right so you can see the trail better.
