Going on Vacation... Help needed!!!

Hi everyone... I'm going to an all Inclusive resort (I live in The Caribbean) next week for 5 days. I've lost over 5lbs since started this MFP journey and would hate to ruin it.
I would appreciate any suggestions from you that could help me not gain the pounds back. As you may know I love to eat.
Happy day to everyone...

I have the same problem. Vacation in the mountains in a month and I will have no control of what food I will be served. Guess will power is key and portion control. But it will be a vacation so don't sweat it0

I just returned from an all-inclusive where I gained 5 pounds but lost it quickly upon return. If you drink, most of your gains are likely to be water weight. However, to be on the safe side, try to stay low carb - shying away from the breads, pastas and desserts. Also, instead of mixing your drinks with juice (assuming that you drink) stick to mixing with diet soda or club soda. Choose one splurge per day (piña colada, pastry, or maybe even pasta) and show restraint during the remainder of the day. Just my 2 cents! Have fun!0

Thank you!! that's exactly what I think. I'll enjoy my vacations, controlling the portions.0 -

I'm not a drinks lover, so I won't have to worry about that. and thanks a lot... I will.0 -
I agree with both replies. Just watch portions and try and be busy so as to not spend too much time sitting around and eating/drinking. It may seem hard but if you can manage to get food out of focus you should be able to enjoy yourself.0
