@IngridMann17 I am agree with you it's so "easy" to lose weight, maintaning it is really hard!

I bought groceries this morning and decided to try mixing a few dry ingredients to create a 321 microwave dessert.
I won't mention anything else (to prevent triggering anyone) but I lost control with this easy recipe and decided that I have to throw away the mix or else it will be sitting there next time I have an urge. I'm also contemplating cutting back on sugary foods again because they seem to be the foods I have the least control with. I'm bummed that I binged a lot today and physically feel blah - but I am proud that I threw away the food that I lost control with.

I hope everyone is doing well in their fight against the binge.

    Inching closer to a month!

There have been a few days where I didn't eat the best food, but none of the obsessive overeating. I've even gone to two different buffets - Indian and Chinese - and didn't make 4 trips, each bringing back a giant mound of food. I took small portions, chose lots of veggies, and stopped when I was full!

Crossing my fingers now because I'm on Prednisone for my asthma, which has a tendency to make me want to eat the curtains. haha. I'll be here if the urge strikes!

I have very similar experiences. I find comfort in eating in a deficit much of the time because it is much more controlled. I had my first binge in forever last month and it started because I had a day that I had to really increase my calories due to my maintenance level and a bunch of exercise. It went off the rails. However, I also realized that I need to eat more all through the day and not leave so many calories for dinner and beyond. That has been helping me.

Thanks for this insight, I need to remember to eat throughout the day (in a controlled manner) as well on those high-ish calorie days.

I keep buying food to binge on (chocolate) but then do not want it. I am feeling a little stressed and think that chocolate would help but I know it won't. I should throw it away but I hate to waste money. I think putting this out there in writing will get me to stop buying the chocolate. The source of my stress should be resolved tomorrow.

    Thanks for your support!

Hi there! I just found this support group and I like it. I am joining you if you don't mind. So far today I have been sticking to my daily calories and planned food. I will report tonight if the day was binge-free.
