I'm particularly vulnerable to their cinnamon coffee cake bars... I know they're full of chemicals and junk... but... but... but.
I'd like some suggestions for a better choice. Its okay if its a little higher in cals.
Does anyone have a recipe for a soft cake-like brownie-like thing... sweet but not too sweet... with fiber and protein? lol.
Thanks in advance.

Try Lärabars (http://www.larabar.com). Many flavors only have two ingredients. My favorite is the "cashew cookie" which just has cashews and dates.
Or, if you're feeling ambitious, you can make your own! (http://www.damyhealth.com/2011/03/how-to-make-homemade-lara-bars/) You can follow these recipes or make your own cinnamon coffee version! Beware though that they are very tasty and calorie dense.0 -
We used to call Fiber One bars... Fart Bars...Can you guess why?0

This isn't quite like a brownie, but my favorite bar to have is the That's It bars. They are just fruit, nothing else added and they are so good! I like them because they satisfy my sweet tooth without the horrible chemicals and calories0

Thanks for the ideas! They're great and I'll try them. I've been eating like one piece of fancy chocolate in place of my usual bar... it kind of meets that same "need." Lol... I need to break the habit completely, but this will be okay for now.
I'll try the larabars soon. I have the ingredients.0 -
