Is IF just for people who strength train?

Is IF just for people strength train? I'm 54 and a little over 200 pounds. I've just started working on improving my health and currently I'm only doing cardio, treadmill and bike, but plan on adding weights soon. Is IF only for people who are already in shape?

No, IF is for anyone that wants to lose fat, potentially utilize insulin better and manage calories. I have been doing a lot of reading, and it is definitely something I just started. I am doing Bulletproof IF - which allow Bulletproof coffee [or tea] in the AM that does not break the fast and does give you energy and cognitive boost.0

No. I do strength train, but have been following IF for many, many years before lifting.
I also have coffee calories in the morning. The first cup with heavy whipped cream, the 2nd with redi whip.0
