Onederland!

8 months post-op, 81lbs gone and for the first time in 14 years I'm under 200lbs. So happy to share this news with my fellow VSGers.

Thank you everybody! I remember a year ago when I was lurking around here, hadn't secured my surgery date yet. I would read ppl's posts about losing 100 lbs and could definitely understand the happiness, but when I read the Onederland ones I thought "what's so great about reaching 199 lbs it's not close to my goal" but I so GET IT now!
    Thank you again everyone!

I'm down to 184 now (presurgery high was 234 back in early June 2015). On Friday I had to go in to the doc unexpectedly, to get antibiotics for bronchitis. The nurse (whom I'd never seen before) who weighed me matter of factly slid the lower weight over to 150 and then the upper to 37 (with clothes on). She turned away to record the amount and I just stood there on the scale, looking at it and blinking back incipient tears. It was the first time in many, many years that the lower weight hadn't been at the 200 point. THAT'S what Onederland is all about!!! :)

Hitting Onederland is a very special moment for so many of us! Enjoy it. I'm coming up on my one year anniversary and so badly wanted to hit 100 lbs. gone but I'm at 94 lbs. and that is okay. 100 lbs. gone will come and that will be exciting too but Onederland after 20 plus years was magical.

I've been 10 or less pounds away from onederland for what seems like forever! You've inspired me to get off my butt and onto the treadmill right now. ♥️

I wish I was 100 lbs gone! I'm only 86 lbs gone. When I posted "I'm in wonderland now" I was referring to finally weighing in the 100s vs 200s. Although I'm not too far away from achieving both milestones. Thanks for the support!
