Does anyone else like hot flashes? I know it sounds weird, but I think they feel interesting and I kind of like them. I just wish this wasn't inhibiting my weight loss.

    Smiles. No, I wouldn't say I like them. But I get them very rarely. Nigh sweats happen more often for me, not sure why.

    Now that they are fewer and further between, I just find them annoying. I'm ever hopeful that at some point they will stop altogether.

    Hate them. Trying different things but no relief. I refuse to use HRT. to many risks.

    I just read an interesting report on hot flash and insulin resistance. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/772465

    It focused on estrogen, but why wouldn't dietary changes help as they do for others with insulin resistance...

    I started taking black cohosh and haven't had a hot flash in a year.
