I made a cup of bullet proof "coffee" this morning, however i substituted coffee for choc protein powder because i hate coffee.
My recipe:
1 TBS (15g) Organic unrefined coconut oil
1 TBS Grass fed butter
1 Raw egg
1 scoop (32) protein powder
It hasn't particularly filled me up, and was wondering if i should double the coconut oil and butter to 2TBS each. What do y'all think? And can you please share your BPC recipe.
Many thanks

I would only double your fat if you need more or are still hungry.
Mine isn't really BPC either but I call it that anyways.
Large travel mug of coffee only half full with a:- half serving of whey protein powder (stevia and vanilla flavoured),
- about a tsp of coconut oil,
- 1-2 TBS of coconut cream from the can
- possibly a drop of stevia and some cinnamon or nutmeg
Then I just take my whisk to it and make it frothy and then top it up with coffee (less spilling).0 -
I use 1tsp coconut oil, 1.5Tbs hwc and some sugar free syrup. And I have 2 cups.
If you need more, either double up or have a second cup. I prefer a second cup myself.0 -
I'm a minimalist when it comes to my bpc, and love it!
-15 to 20 ml of unrefined coconut oil
-10 ml or so of Kerrygold butter
-Starbucks mug size cup of brewed dark roast coffee.
**Throw the cup in the microwave for 30 seconds.
**Toss in my blender and blend for a minute or so.
Frothy, awesome, goodness!
I've never liked sugar in my coffee, so it's easy for me to go without.
Occasionally I'll skip the bpc for a week or because my calories are going higher than I want them to.
One of my pleasures when I'm at maintenance will be more coconut oil!0 -
I made my 1st cup of BPC and all I have to say is yummmmmmm0

I do 16oz coffee, 1 Tbsp heavy cream, 1 Tbsp (14g) coconut oil, 1 Tbsp unsalted butter. Sometimes I add a little cocoa powder and stevia, but not always. To be honest most of the time I prefer it unsweetened.0

I keep it simple. I can't afford $14 for a jar of coconut oil and to be honest I haven't noticed the difference in my health, weightloss or hunger since I stopped buying it (3 months ago).
I generally just use 15ml of cream and 20g of butter whipped into a fresh brewed coffee every morning. I take it in a 440ml flask to work and it keeps me happy until lunch at 12:30pm0 -
Thankyou everyone.
And yeah I know what you mean about the expense @EbonyDahlia ,I pay $11 for a 300g jar of the melrose coconut oil. I'm going to have to go searching for some bargains. I did buy a cheaper brand the other week and it was disgusting, it looked and tasted terrible I ended up tossing it in the bin.0
