Oh I know! Thanks for the tip! If they can't hack a low carb diet no way they could do this. I am an RN so I'm super careful about recommending diets. And let's be honest... This diet is not healthy! I've warned them and the decisions theirs. Last night I ate a salad and still lost another pound. This morning I ate the eggs and plan on eating salads the rest of the day and probably 2 more eggs. I may try the fast again after the new year we will see where I'm at!

I want to try this just to see if I can eat that many eggs. Maybe at the beginning of January.

I am on day 2. It's totally doable even after I had fallen off the LC wagon for a whole week. I wonder if it is just me that I do not feel lethargic or anything going from hundreds of carbs last week to under 10g total. I love IBIH and I hope this will help me stay on the LCHF wagon for a long time.

Thanks for the info! I've done my own version of fat/egg fasts twice now (each for 2 days, though the second round was 1000-cal and 1100 cal, nothing too low) and it did seem to help get the weight loss kick-started again.

I totally lost my taste for BPC. I'm not sure what happened. I made some during my first fat fast, took a sip, tried to like it, and threw the rest out. I'd had it before and liked it well enough but now it just seems so greasy to me. I even lost my taste for coconut oil in general! Sad. I do eat my fat bombs still sometimes but I don't love them.

I think that this just happens to some of us. I was doing a variation of bulletproof Tea and primal tea. And I just hit a wall. Had to stop it completely for over a month. Then eventually transitioned back to using a different coconut oil (had been using refined, switched to unrefined despite not liking the taste of coconut, etc.

I still struggle with it some, especially considering my body does not like it anywhere near any vinegar type substance, but I do okay more days than not.
