 Name: Sarah
 Starting Weight: 170ish
 Goal weight: 145ish
Weekly or daily steps: My Flex is set at 9250 as my daily goal
Weekly weight loss: MFP is set for 2 lb/wk but that's to make up for errors in logging on my end. I'm not super-focused on losing weight so much as being more active and living healthier.
Rather than calorie burn goal, I have a workout goal of 4x/week of "real" workouts (in addition to trying to make my step goal).0

Welcome all fitbit users. This is a challenge to help get you motivated to get up off the couch and get moving. Its a new year and you have your fitbit and no excuses for not using it. I just got my
second fitbit( I first had the flex and then received the Surge for Christmas and decided it was to big and bulky and exchanged for the Charge HR and the Aria scale). I am ready to start the challenge Monday January 4th 2016. I thought it would be great to start a challenge.
To make sure you get started off on the right foot, please post your weight on the same day each week with your progress and as often as you like with support and or tips on weight loss.
 include:

 Goal weight:

I will post daily tips and highlight your weekly progress. Lets make this fun and a real challenge, we can do this.
 Thanks

Hi all - Happy New Year! My goal is to be saying Happy New ME by this time next year!
One tip I'm trying to get in my water each day: I set a goal of 4 bottles per day and am dating and numbering the caps each day to keep myself accountable. I set a goal of 100 bottles for January and am keeping the caps to count them on Jan 31. If I make my goal, I get a treat, maybe a pedicure, flowers, not sure what yet.

This is GREAT motivation. Let's see:
 Name: Tina
 Starting Weight: 168
 Goal weight: 110
 Sleep: 5-6 hours
Weekly or daily steps: 10k minimum
 Calories burned: 1500-2100

            Name: Kaitlyn
 Starting Weight: 154
 Goal weight: 135 (and maintain)
 Sleep: 8 hrs
Weekly or daily steps: daily 8,000
Calories burned: not quite sure what this means yet.
 Weekly weight loss: 1-1.5 lbs
These are just my starting goals. Currently I am not active and have no physical activity. I would like to increase my goals and exercise more. I need support and motivation. I struggle with anxiety and depression and food is comforting. Over the holidays I probably gained 10 pounds. I am putting my foot down now BEFORE this becomes a problem.
I am a young, busy mom with a daughter, working a full time job looking for a support group to lose a little weight, stay in shape and to make some friends.0
