@nvmomketo really nice work. It's amazing how much you've changed in less than a year. I remember when I started and it felt like it was going to be impossible. Following lc made it so much easier for me to stick to.

@auntstephie321 Thank you! It's pretty cool what can happen in just 6 months, isn't it? I FEEL so much better. :) I wish I'd switched my diet years ago...

It is amazing. I know what you mean. I struggled for over a decade. I was really thin growing up then in my young twenties something changed and I had no idea why, I just kept gaining and gaining then randomly I'd start losing and I'd go up and down every few years. It wasn't till last March that my endocrinologist suggested it was likely caused by insulin resistance and to try a low carb diet. That completely changed my life. I'm so thankful for that and though I've struggled over the past couple months I feel so much better getting back at it.

Sounds like me too.... Well, LC is definitely working for you now!

    Wow! Looking great!
You know, I forget how fast the changes actually happen sometimes. My previously posted pic shows 7 months into Keto (started in May). But this picture, which is pretty much still what I look like now, really shows just how fast it happened.

Yes, @auntstephie321!! We began this woe the same month! I still remember your first moniker! It's amazing seeing the changes!

Please know that my "before" pic is from six years ago. I began LCHF about 60 pounds lighter last March. Didn't mean to misrepresent there!

@karlottap I totally remember that, you, leah and I started at around the same time I think, or at least had similar questions at the same time :) it's like family here for me now. I may not be here all the time when I'm in a funk but I check in everyday and love seeing everyone's successes so far.

my before is from years ago too, I have another photo of me before low carb, but it was the summer before, not right when I started and I was heavier when I started. I wish I did have a photo from march last year, I know there are some out there but I can't seem to find them.

That's a very fast transformation, @Sunny_Bunny_ . I'm moving much slower than that.

    Keep up the great work!

    Thanks. :)
I am a bit tall. I am almost 5'8". Close enough that I claim it. I have a fairly broad build with wide shoulders and a large rib cage so I can get away with a bit more weight than some women.

Good to know @nvmomketo! Being almost the same height as you, and build it sounds, I can see how thin I will look when close to your weight!

Where are the swimsuit pics? Here's mine. :)

Left is a bit over a year ago. Right is a week or two ago, south of the equator at the peak of summer.

This is my progress doing LCHF from about Jan 2015 to June 2015. I lost 60 lbs. Unfortunately I had a rough few months (death in family, job issues, holidays... list goes on and on) and I was eating emotionally. I gained about 20 lbs back. I am back at it now and feel great. Ready to get back to goal!!

I know you have some awesome before and after photos too Janice!

@wabmester , you look nothing like I imagined, but great inspiration!!

@Japkoo! Best of luck with getting back at it! Your hard work definitely shows too though!

LOL Karla ! I don't have any "before" photos, I just have "in between" photos of right now in size medium. Those will become my new before, as soon as I fit into size small. I wish I did have photos of what I looked like 100 pounds heavier.

I know...I'll have to wait until my new driver's license photo is shot, then I can post the old and new me....but you'll have to wait a few months.

Hey, everyone, I know it's not Tuesday, but I'd love to see any updates anyone has. I'll have to see about taking some current pictures, as my other ones from last year aren't quite where I am now (regained some)... I need new pictures anyway.

Thanks @KnitOrMiss for resurrecting this thread! I have no new "after" to post at this point, but I am seriously impressed at the transformations in this thread.

Wow, @lowjax75, @Japkoo and @wabmester! Just amazing. So great to see people aging in reverse.

Maybe the group motto should be something like, "these results aretypical of LCHF done right!"

Thank you for continuing to inspire me!

Here you go @KnitOrMiss I was debating doing new photos so soon. I thought I'd wait till my one year but since you bumped this I figured why not.

My boyfriend isn't the best at doing photos so the angles are a little off.
