Oh, I'll throw in the towel, but still try to at least be mindful about it. My goal is to not drink alcohol tonight and then enjoy a bottle of wine with my husband tomorrow while we cook dinner/thanksgiving prep. And then Thursday it's ON like donkey kong.
Since it's a short week for me I figured I will enjoy the holiday thoroughly this week/weekend and get back on track Sunday. I will still check in and let you know how bad the damage is...!
We currently have 7 bottles of wine on our kitchen table waiting to be put in the fridge for Thursday. Friends will bring more. Oh and did I mention only 5 people will be drinking?0 -
Really want a drink tonight but gonna hang in there till tomorrow... Then will probably enjoy some wine over the long weekend0

Well, I was doing pretty good staying AF during the week. I thought I could at least make it til Wednesday this week. I got home from the gym, SO (who is on vaca all this week), popped the top on a beer and the rest as they say is history. I am now going to rescue some wine from inside a bottle0

Haha! I had every intention too. And I got home and my husband bought a large bottle of stout. We are currently sharing it. Oops? At least it's less than a pint and I won't drink after this. Will be done for the night!0 -
Honestly I plan on drinking thursday. And possibly friday. But alcohol free tonight and yesterday!0

Towel throwin at 3 pm today. Going to see my bestie (since we were five) that I only see every few months. My SO will have to pick me up. Oh and I'm going to @AJMB704 s for t-day. Lol0

Fun @elizabethymartin! Enjoy! I am ready to open some wine now (it's 12:45 pm here) because I'm cooking for thanksgiving. I just attempted some mini quiches and they look like GIANT failures. We will see. Not quite shaping up like the picture at all...anyway, we only have 1 bottle ready to go and I really must wait for my husband so I'll refrain and drink fizzy water instead.
Next up is sugar cream pie (also known as Hoosier pie). It's an Indiana specialty and I use my grandma's recipe - it basically tastes like pecan pie without the pecans. It makes 2 pies and you can't halve the recipe so I rarely make it, maybe once a year. A friend requested it and my husband and I both adore it so I'm making it for thanksgiving. It's my very favorite dessert!0 -
Thanksgiving is over here but it's my husbands birthday tomorrow and we both have Friday off so I will probably start my weekend on Thursday. Going to try and keep it to two drinks max per day though! Happy Thanksgiving!!0

Tuesday, no booze day...
Sparkling water and a burrito bowl tonight. It's a lot of food for not a ton of calories. The pie is all gone and we don't have any other sugar in the house, thank goodness. It always takes a few days for me to stop craving sugar once I eat it. I might get in the tub so I don't have access to the kitchen...0 -
AF tonight!0

AF yesterday and will be tonight. Planning to be AF until at least Friday, possibly through Saturday.0 -
I was AF last night & planning on doing the same tonight. I overdid it over the wkend; so, my plan is to lay low for a few days so I can do it all over again this wkend :-)0
-
That's a good plan!0

I had one glass of Pinot noir last night. It was delicious but I woke up at 3:30 and never fell back to sleep! It couldn't be one glass at 6 pm, could it?0

U know it is that sneaky *kitten* blood sugar drop. When that happens I cut a little juice into some sparkling water and chug it down. Prob best to pair a protein w/ that but I don't. Even tho I should.0

Well...I was well behaved at the dentist last night and passed on the wine offered...and then I went to dinner with my husband afterward and had 2 drinks. Glass of champagne and a glass of white wine. Drat!0
-
Was well behaved last night, stuck to sparkling water. I had a very brief wine craving that soon passed.0

I'm back on the wagon after over indulging over Christmas and new year.0
-
@purpledoll173 the welcome wagon welcomes you on to the wagon!! I def overindulged too. It happens. New year, less beer. Let us know your progress!0

Oooops. Two glasses of wine tonight. I realized that south beach diet is really tough for me. I eat a lot of carbs normally and I am feeling really deprived right now. I can either cut carbs OR cut alcohol. But not both for very long. (And I know that alcohol counts as carbs! Or something...)
Stuck to my protein, dairy and vegetables today but am REALLY enjoying my second glass of wine right now. No apologies.0 -
Well, Vegas sucked. Apparently we are not Vegas people and also our friends (the whole point of going) bailed super early and we were stuck there until Monday night. Didn't drink yesterday at all. Mostly moped about the fact we were stuck in Vegas.
Tonight I'm having a glass of wine - our pasta recipe called for white and we bought a bottle. Ignoring the second glass, at least. I had a tough day at work and am feeling bummed on the friend front. But what can ya do.0 -
It's Tuesday and I'm AF! That's 2 days in a row0
-
Doing great and af on this Tuesday.. Hope everyone else is doing well!0
-
Me too. All is well (and dry), lol0
-
I'm hanging in there! Wanted happy hour tonight but skipped it. Ignoring the cold white in fridge. Going to get in the bathtub so I can't hit up the kitchen0
-
2 days in a row, AF0
