I personally got the Buried Treasure brand after a recommendation and some research. It's one of the rare ones that is all coconut oil, not palm oils, and it's safely sourced and processed, etc. I love it so far, and it's been a few weeks. It must be started slowly, even if you're coconut oil adapted. I love it best so far mixed into a morning drink. Lovely energy boost.0

I have the Viva labs brand. Honestly I don't use it very often. Weekday mornings I'm too lazy to fuss with the blender and weekends I have bacon and eggs and don't need as substantial of a coffee. lol0

I have the Now brand, it was the only one available locally and sometimes I don't like waiting for shipping. Next time I will try to find one with higher concentrations of the capric and capryllic acid, I'd also like one with lauric acid in it as well, as right now I'm using coconut oil and mct oil, I'd like it all in one if possible. I might splurge for brain octane but I haven't researched enough as I still have half a bottle left so am not ready to order anything.
@Sunny_Bunny_ posted one the other day that sounded good, maybe she can repost the link I can't remember the name of it0 -
Brain Octane is ONLY Caprylic Acid. It doesn't have the Capric or Lauric.
The Buried Treasure brand has all three.0 -

yeah its hard to even find what's in brain octane, its suppose to have a higher concentration of the caprylic. I'm starting to find that rather questionable since their own site didn't even show me a break down, unless I missed it somewhere.0 -
That's it, @auntstephie321 ... There is no breakdown. It's only Caprylic. Which means it's way processed and strips the other stuff. Caprylic is the "instant" one that doesn't require being broke down to absorb and use. Capric is pretty quick. Lauric is the slow burner.
So they're giving you the FAST one only...0 -

Brain Octane has 15g caprylic acid per tablespoon. Which is the highest available as far as I know.
MiCkeyT has 13g per tablespoon and is also only caprylic acid. It's s little more cost effective than Brain Octane. It's the next highest concentration I've ever found. And I've really looked!

For a combination MCT that you can get some lauric and capric acid from too, the Buried Treasure brand is a winner in my book for price and quality of source. I think it had about 4.2 g each of caprylic and capric and almost 8g of lauric per tablespoon.
I like MCT's that are sourced from coconut oil, not just palm oil and non GMO.
Edited to remove a bunch of junk that showed up with my copied link.0 -
This is the one I was... Looking at would it be a good choice? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XM0Y9SE?keywords=Mct&qid=1456260129&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-20

I recently purchased the Sports Research - Pure & Premium 100% MCT Oil and the Wild Mct oil. I don't know much about them.
Does anyone know if either of them has the good stuff.. not so processed ?0 -

This one is a good choice in my opinion if you want one that includes lauric acid. It also has some capric. It's a blend which is nice if you don't want to also include regular coconut oil in your diet. So you get more caprylic and capric in it than what you can get from regular coconut oil but without giving up lauric acid.
It's also a very good price for a big bottle.0
