So recently I started to fill dizziness when lying down. The lightheadedness kind, feels as though I might faint (not like my surrounding is moving around). And my lips going numb?
I thought it was some kind of dehydration, but I drink 2L of water daily (and two cups of coffee).
Should I make an appointment with my doctor? Drink more? It smthg?

I vote for "it smthg" as long as that smthg has a bunch of sodium. :)

Low-carbers need more sodium, especially in the first couple weeks. Shoot for 3000-5000mg/day.

Yes to the sodium!! Pickles, pickle juice, pork skins, generously salted chicken broth, Himalayan Pink Salt, and, or, Salt substitutes (for potassium too)! You're losing sodium via your urine, every time you pee! This must be replaced, or you will experience the symptoms you are describing!

LOL @wabmester. Yes, I was thinking sodium too. I already struggled with low BP so my cardiologist had already told me to up my sodium and not drink TOO much water (I tend to drink a good 100 oz/day plus lots of coffee). I seem to need at least 4000 mg/day on keto. Working on getting that more consistently, plus supplementing magnesium and potassium.

The more water you drink, the more sodium you need.
If you've been guzzling water without getting more sodium, it's making it worse.

Personally I'd err on the side of caution and go see your doctor. If you'd mentioned just dizziness alone is say more sodium and watch your electrolytes but the but the numb lips just makes me wonder.

Were you active just before lying down? Did you just exercise or anything?

Around a year before I did a lot of tests, and apparently have protein in my urine. So I was told by my doc to cut all the salt from my foods.
And then, at late December, the doc said that it's pretty normal for my weight...
So when I started lchf, I bought this lo salt and use it with every meal - it feels like A LOT of salt to me now :D .
Maybe I'll try to add some to my water and see how it goes

Try to remember that you're just REPLACING lost sodium. You're not loading up on it. Your losing sodium through urine with all the water you're drinking any ketones and through the glycogen depletion.
