Hey I put one of my new DVD's in and guess what?? No sound. So back to Amazon it goes. I did try a different one today it was walking with upper and lower body workout. It was good. I did notice this evening that the swelling in my left knee has gone down to my shin. So I'm getting a little nervous. If it still that way Monday I'm going to call the doctor.

Have a great Friday night !!!!!!

Well considered sitting around and being a veggie but decided I'm not going to get anywhere doing that. So walked 2.83 miles using "Map my Walk" Love this app!!!! A little chilly but I like outside better than inside. Looked at my knee and it looks bruised. Maybe I hit something. I bruise real easy. Another reason I like outside more room.

    Have a great Saturday Night

11/365 - well I've made it to 40 days of tracking!! It's a nice feeling! I can't seem to sleep at the moment :/ oh well! It happens! I burned 600 calories yesterday! I did a twenty minute workout after each task I finished! It felt great! I hope to keep that up today! :) hope everyone is having a great weekend!

9/365 Thanks @RebelWalk for the info. I do everything science based so I appreciate the article :)

Yesterday I went to the gym to run in the morning, then I got a massage to celebrate dropping the first 10 pounds. It was the most through deep tissue I've ever had and I am SORE! but I know that's okay because it will work itself out as long as I keep drinking water. My entire body was so tight. I'm so thankful I currently live in a place where we can get things pretty affordably. This place I go to is only $66 for a one hour massage, so that's just over a dollar a minute. I'm moving to Philly in June so I know things are going to change drastically. No more free rec center to go to, no more cheap anything haha.

My husband is in town this weekend and I'm so excited :) But that means after work today I'm not sure how much time I'll have to work out. It's supposed to be 64 today so I told him I really want to go for a run before we start doing anything. He's learning to be more supportive of my health goals but it's hard because we only see each other about once a month and want to spend as much time together as possible.

A great day weather wise here. Took my workout outside and walked 3.7 miles in 66 minutes. I was tired afterwards but it felt great. Slowing trying to increase mileage. I was saying the other day I wanted to sweat like I did with Zumba. Well that was today :D

2/29 - Thanks :) I'm still trying to get my 10,000 steps in today but I did so much the past few days that I took today as a rest day. I don't want to overdo the running when I'm just getting back into it. The weather is going to be a little chilly this week but I'm not going to let that stop me :)

Today I took a rest day from exercise. May have went a little overboard yesterday. Knees hurt a little today. Tomorrow I'll try again. I really did enjoy it at the time. I'm not sure how long this weather will last. I'm going to look for a new DVD to replace the one with no sound.

Tomorrow is weigh in day. I'm nervous but I will just have to try harder in March.

11/365 Another rest day. That's two in a row which I really do not feel okay about. I was so excited to run today but the time my last students left, it started to rain and I just lost all motivation. I did start a squat challenge today and a quick round of the wake up work-out. Here's to tomorrow!

Made a doctor appointment for next week. Will discuss sleep issue and knees. Met a friend for lunch which helped chase away the blues from yesterday. Another no exercise day. So COLD today. Tomorrow I'm going to do a DVD need to get back on track.

12/365 Guys I am in so many challenges! Fortunately they all work together so it's helpful. I did my squat challenge today. I also joined a running/walking challenge and I need to do a total of 50 miles this month and that's a stretch for me. Plus I *think* I'm going to sign up for another half marathon. I'm going to try training before the actual training starts because last time I really messed up my knee and I want to go slow, but I think that will push me towards my goals. Next week I start an Amazing Race challenge that's a lot of fun. If you guys want to see what it's about, check out Spring Break Training challenge. It's cool because it's based on time and you can do whatever exercise you want so my squats/running and other challenges will all count!

14/365 I have worked out three days in a row! Burning 500 calories a day! Burning 3,500 equals a pound so I am hopeful I can reach it this week! :) I am also doing the squat challenge and that is helping me! I find the more active you are on the site the more you lose and the more likely you won't give up after a few days! And the more likely you will come back even after a cheat day or bad calorie workout day! :)

13/365 I over ate by more than 400 calories all within about 20 minutes. I have such a headache and I have been so hungry all day. I came home and ate dinner but I was just still so hungry so I ate a whole lotta popcorn and had two glasses of grape ginger ale! I like to think those aren't the worst choices I could have made, but calories are calories! I can do better tomorrow. I wonder if it was because I exerted a lot of energy for yesterdays workout but didn't eat any of my exercise calories, so maybe I was just depleted. Any ideas of things to eat after a workout when I'm really not that hungry?

I finished a 4 mile walking DVD today. Afterwards I swept and mopped all my hardwood floors. I feel like I accomplished something snd it felt great. It snowed today. It didn't stick on the roads just on the grass looked nice.

Today was a rest day on exercise. I've started weighing daily and it fluctuates up and down everyday trying to figure out why. I remember now why I didn't like daily weigh ins. Have a great weekend!!!

Day 14/365 - yesterday was one of those "don't make me work out" days because I had a pretty bad migraine. But I was able to get some meds just before running and by the end of my run I felt great! So proud of myself that I did it even though I really didn't want to.

Great job everyone! :) I've been writing essays and studying for midterms! Lol mega crazy this week! But I did manage to get my weight down to 188.9 which is awesome!!! The fact that I was still able to workout and get most of my school done makes me happy and proud! And water does help with weight loss!!!! I had a picture about it! Lol the water helps your body process your food! If u add lemon to your water it increases ur metabolism! So I recommend that! :)

Walked for 70 minutes, 457 calories burned averaged 3 mph. Not bad for gimpy knees. What a great day for a walk sunny blue skies. I feel like I'm doing everything right this month. I hope my results keep coming. So far so good.
