Every extra miles would help the team not everyone maybe able to do the full 280 due to health reason's or sickness. And sometimes our personal life may take priority being a mother of 4 sometimes exercise takes a back seat

Great job, everyone! I just got back from the gym with my husband (it is NOT easy to get him there)! Cardio is really helping with the congestion. Hope you all have a fun and active weekend0

Did the Celtic Canter 5k here in town this morning. I finished in a very good time for me, anything under an hour is good for me, I managed 48 minutes. I got all kinds of cocky and decided to jog some of the beginning of the race. That came back to bite me about mile three when my crunchy knees started to rebel. Ice packs and a day off from the walking for me until the swelling goes down. Sucks to be old.
Keep up the good work everybody!0 -
Feeling pretty good today . Working my 12 hr shift, but we are super slow today so I have been able to get in some exercises on the job; free weights, HIIT, and walking in place. Yeah I may look a little silly, but I am determined to get some miles on the board. Hope you all are getting your miles in and enjoying your weekend.0

Great work! I am sure it felt good to hit that goal. That's my daily goal also.0 -

Thanks for the answer. I hear that, sometimes I barely get anything in.0 -
I went to a baby shower for a friend today. I had a couple desserts, but it was a tea party baby shower...so everything was super mini-size, so the damage was minimal. . Now, I gotta fit in a workout before bed.0

@TaraDanielle40 the more the merrier! Everyone has to have at least 10% so every minute you add goes toward our team total0 -
I got my wedding dress yesterday! I'm waiting to do alterations until July because I want to shed a few more pounds first. I've got to work on my love handles, that's the only part I didn't like about my dress on me. I found some exercises I can do at home for them so I'm going to start doing those literally everyday!0

Yesterday was a great reminder of why eating healthy is a good idea. I'd made it 4 days without sugar and then rewarded myself with a sugar day and ended up making myself sick. I started with a big cookie after a long run and ended with a chocolate fountain at a wedding reception. I don't think sugar will be such a big temptation today0

So what happens if our team doesn't get all of the miles? Also, what if we have a bad week and don't get to 10%?0

There's rankings based on exercise minutes, road blocks, extra credit and I also believe weight loss. I think there will be eliminations for the lowest ranked, not positive though.0

A very exciting time for you!!
I know you can do this0 -
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I didn't eat too healthy but I did get my exercise minutes in.0

I just looked at the sheet. Great job everyone. I can't wait to next week and try to do better. That is my goal, to progress and do more every week.0

Headed to Ireland this week! 2883 miles, we're back down to 17 team members so about 170 minutes each - less than last week and we passed our goal by 400 minutes last week so we got this! Roadblocks consists of Irish dancing videos - I'll def be doing. And also cooking an Irish meal - which I will not be doing because I've got my meals planned and grocery shopping done already. Extra credit is everyday for 5 days you must eat one fruit or veggie in these 5 colors: Red, green, blue or purple, yellow or orange and white. Also for accountability extra credit - all you have to do is log your food all week! Which you should already be doing anyways
Cheers to kicking butt again this week! Also, just because we need less minutes doesn't mean we should just hit that mark and stop! Let's go above and beyond team0 -
Just checking in to see what I need to do this week. Looks like a trip to the salad bar is in order.
I am totally wiped out this morning. After the race on Saturday, where I ignored the doc's advice and ran part of the way, I am definitely paying for it. My knees hurt so bad I barely slept Saturday night, even with more advil than one should take. Then yesterday we were up early to get to my in-laws and collect the antique dining room suite that is coming to live in our house. Dozens of stairs, lifting, carrying, and then rearranging said furniture in our house several times until it looked right left me done by dinner time.
I did sleep a little better last night, but it will probably be a couple of more days before the knee is better. I'm going to the gym tonight, but I think it will be a stationary bike workout just to keep things loose and burn some calories off.
Happy Monday everyone!0 -
Good morning and happy Monday! I'll get both road blocks this week since I already have my corned beef and cabbage . I really need to work on getting healthier foods in my diet this week. @celtikgirl I hope you start feeling better!0

So for today, I have cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots in my lunch and a banana as a snack. Can I only count one of these for the nutritional challenge for today?0 -

I think so. So it'd be one point for today. Unless it's all or nothing - not sure if we get partial points.0 -
Thanks, @TaraDanielle40 . I think I was just confused about her post when she said "You must eat each at least once out of the five days." I'll just be sure to get some colorful fruit/veggies in 5 days this week.0

Evening Team, Week 2 challenge well on its way all the best during the process of this week!!
With regards to our logging sheet I think we need to start writing our names again under week 1.
@celtikgirl hope you feel better soon X

Hi, team. I fixed a formula for total miles in column q. For the roadblocks and nutritional challenges, do we erase the info from last week or will there be new columns for that as well?0
